TikTok You package name
By TikTok You Published
The TikTok You package name is com.zhiliaoapp.musically. Android allows one installed app for that name, so this file takes the place of a store install.
What the manifest says
The current file's manifest sets the package to com.zhiliaoapp.musically. That is the same package name the Play Store build uses. Android does not install a second app under one package name, and it does not treat a different launcher icon as a different package.
The version name inside the current package is not the same string as the 5.0 label on this site. The download notes state the package version name beside that file. Use that line when a phone or a file inspector shows a longer number than the label on the page.
Why the installer stops
If that package is already installed and the signatures differ, Android refuses the update. The usual message is that the app was not installed. Uninstall the existing app, including the Play Store copy, then open the file again.
A signature clash is not a parse error. A parse error means the file did not arrive whole. A signature clash means a different build of the same package is already present. The tap-by-tap sequence is in how to install TikTok You.
What uninstall removes
Uninstalling deletes the app's local data on the phone. An account that lives on a server is separate from that local data. Drafts, offline videos, and saved files that exist only on the phone do not survive the uninstall. This site does not promise that signing in again restores them.
If you later want the store build back, install it from the store after this package is gone. You cannot add it beside TikTok You.
Phones this file skips
The APK includes arm64-v8a libraries only. A 32-bit-only phone will not install it, even after you uninstall another copy. There is no second package on this site for that phone.
Get the file from the download page. For the region control after install, see change region in TikTok You.
