About TikTok You

This website is published under the name TikTok You. The Android client is developed by shiawasez. ByteDance and TikTok Pte. Ltd. publish the official app. This site is not those parties, and it does not speak for them.

The pages here are the download, the install steps, the FAQ, and a few guides. There is no account on this website, and there is no store checkout.

Download buttons point at APK files stored on apkdownloading.com. For the current file, the package name, the version name inside the package, the minimum Android version, the CPU libraries, and the permission list come from that file's manifest. The size is the file's byte length, shown in decimal megabytes. Release notes are rewritten from the project's public update history for the same version label.

Screens on this site are the project's own settings screens for region, the feed, colors, launcher icons, and streaks. They show the controls the project publishes. They are not a recording from a phone in this office, and they are not a promise that every phone draws the same pixels.

This site does not run a device lab, and it does not claim an antivirus scan that was not done here. If a note on another page says a feature was tested on several phones, that claim is not from this website.

The client is a modified package, not an official store build, and not a paid app with the purchase removed. Play billing remains in the manifest. The feed settings include a switch to hide ads. That is not the same as a measured ad-free session.

Older project labels that are not linked on the download page are not available here, even when their notes still explain a control that later files kept.
